Kamel Saleh is the Managing Partner of Deloitte, Saleh, Barsoum & Abdel Aziz in Egypt, with more that twenty five years of working experience in the field of Corporate assurance and finance, Investment and International tax advisory services.
Kamel studied Economics and Computer Science at the American University in Cairo, latter qualified as a Chartered Accountant from the UK in 1990 and became a Fellow of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors in 1991. Kamel worked in London for five years before moving back to Cairo.
Throughout his career Kamel has been advising local and International companies investing in Egypt, covering a wide range of industries. He has provided Investment and business advisory services in relation to group structuring, acquisitions, mergers and listings for a number of corporates both internationally and locally.
Kamel is currently the elected Secretary General of the Egyptian Society of Accountants and Auditors since 2009 and served as a non-executive Board Member of the General Authority for Investment and Free Zones from 2005 to 2013.
