Mr. El Gabaly is a part of the Executive team of The Polyserve Group. He is mainly in charge of the group’s flagship: Abo Zaabal Fertilizers & Chemicals (AZFC). AZFC is a Phosphate-based fertilizer manufacturer. Established in 1947, the company was nationalized in the 1960s. In 2004 Polyserve Fertilizers & Chemicals (PFC) acquired AZFC. Since the acquisition, PFC has invested over 150 million USD to increase the capacities and comply with the environmental laws. AZFC’s capacity has increased from 500,000 TPY to 1.3 million TPY of end product, making it the largest Single Super Phosphate producer in the world. Mr. El Gabaly was in charge of the turnaround of the company, as the General Manager of the projects department. Currently Mr. El Gabaly assumed his new role as Managing Director of the company.  

Besides AZFC, Mr. El Gabaly is the CEO of Aswan Fertilizers & Chemicals (AFC). AFC is a Single Super Phosphate producer with a capacity of 330,000 Tons. 

Mr. El Gabaly is a board member of the Export Council for Chemicals & Fertilizers since 2005 (Deputy Chairman of the council from 2005 – 2011), a Board member of the EUBC since March 2013 & a Board member of the Egyptian Brazilian Business Council since May 2013. 

Mr. El Gabaly holds a B.Sc. in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering from Cairo University.
