Seif ElDin ElSadek is an entrepreneur, founder and Chief Executive Officer of Agrocorp for Agriculture Investment. Agrocorp is an agro processing company focused on the growing and canning of vegetables such as artichokes, pulses, tomato paste and juice, and exporting them to retailers and food service distributors in the U.S., Europe, Middle East and Africa; it also distributes in the local market under the Foody brand.
ElSadek was one of the pioneers in exporting ready-to-eat canned vegetables out of Egypt from a Qualifying Industrial Zone (QIZ). Today, his company accounts for over 50% of all foods exported under the QIZ protocol. With more than 20 years of business expertise under his belt, ElSadek has extensive experience in the agriculture sector and the development of modern agriculture and processing operations. He has a wide understanding of the global trading of processed food and fresh produce in the Western world and Egypt.
ElSadek is a board member of AmCham Egypt and also a member of the Egypt-U.S. Business Council.
ElSadek holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from the American University in Cairo.
