Mr. Aladdin Saba is a founding Partner of BPE partners. BPE partners is a private equity firm established in 2006 under the name Beltone Private Equity. BPE partners provides growth capital for companies across different industry sectors in Egypt.
Mr. Saba was the founder of Beltone Financial, an investment banking institution operating in the fields of Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Brokerage and Research.
He was also the co-founder of Hermes Financial, which in 1996 became EFG-Hermes. Prior to founding Hermes he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Kidder Peabody & Co. Inc. in New York.
He is a founding member of The Egyptian Investment Management Association in addition to The Egyptian Capital Markets Association.
Currently Mr. Saba is Chairman of Ebtikar, a fintech Company focused on the Egyptian Market. He is also a board member of the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES) and a board member of Egypt-U.S. Business Council- EUSBC. In addition to multiple corporate entities including Ismailia for Real Estate Investment SAE, Ismailia for real Estate Development SAE and Madinet Nasr Housing and Development.
Previously Mr. Saba was a member of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of Egypt as from 2007 till 2011, he was also a board member of the Egyptian Stock Exchange as from 2006 till 2015. In addition to multiple corporate entities including National Bank of Egypt, Banque du Caire and Orascom Construction Industries.
Mr. Saba holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from The Wharton School, and a further Master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering from Cairo University.
