Anis Aclimandos is president of Transcentury Associates (TCA), which manages development projects worldwide. He is also president of Woodies, a subsidiary of TCA, the import agent for Eastman-Kodak. Aclimandos has handled large merger and acquisitions projects in the Middle East, attracting FDI to the region from many countries.
Aclimandos joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 1983. He was elected to the board of governors in 1987; re-elected in 1988 and 2007, and in2013 as president. He has served as chair of AmCham's Customs, Investment & Trade and International Donor Programs Committees, and as vice president, membership, from 2001 to 2005.
A certified accountant, Aclimandos earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Cairo University and holds Egyptian and U.S. certification in financial management and analysis.

Chairman, Suez Cement Group of Companies
Omar Mohanna is Chairman of Suez Cement Group of Companies (SCGC), the leading cement producer in Egypt and a subsidiary of the German Multinational Group Heidelberg Cement AG, one of the world leading cement producers. SCGC is comprised of Suez Cement Co., Tourah Portland Cement Co., Helwan Cement Co., and Suez Bags Co, and has as subsidiaries ten other cement related companies and operations in Egypt and the region.
Mohanna is also Chairman of the Alexandria Tire Company (ATCO), the largest tire producer in Egypt, and a subsidiary of the multinational tire manufacturer Pirelli. He is also Chairman of Chubb Insurance Co. Egypt, and Chairman of Chubb Life Insurance Co. Egypt. Both companies are subsidiaries of the US multinational insurance group Chubb formerly ACE.
Mohanna's over 25 years of commercial and investment banking experience with Egyptian and international financial institutions has culminated in the position of Vice Chairman and Managing Director of Egypt Arab African Bank (EAAB). He also held the position of Managing Director of Accor Hotels Group in Egypt and has been a member of the Board of Directors of diverse companies.
Mohanna is active in a number of organizations serving the interests of the business community in Egypt. He is the Past President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt (AmCham Egypt) and is currently member of AmCham Egypt's Board of Governors. Mohanna is also Chairman of the Egypt-US Business Council and is a member of the Italian Egyptian Business Council and the German Egyptian Business Council. He is also a member of the French Egyptian Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, the Egyptian Businessmen Association, and Egypt's International Economic Forum.
At the broader community level, he is a Board member of the Association for the Protection of the Environment, as well as member of the Egyptian Council for Foreign Relations.
As an economist, industrialist and active member of the business community, Mohanna has brought his knowledge and expertise to bear at the policy level. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Federation of Egyptian Industries (FEI) and is Chairman of FEI's International Relations Committee. He is also a member of the General Assembly of the Holding Company for Roads, Bridges and Land Transport Projects (Ministry of Transport). He is as well a member of the Building Materials Export Council (Ministry of Trade and Industry).
In addition, Mohanna is Chairman of the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies (ECES).

Ahmed Abou Ali is a founding partner of Hassouna & Abou Ali law firm (1988), with an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School (1984) and LL.B. (1980) and Diploma in Private Law (1982) from Cairo University. He practiced law in the U.S. with Sidley Austin Law Firm in the banking and corporate areas from 1985 to 1987. Acting on behalf of multinational companies and international agencies, he has expertise in the areas of banking, capital markets, corporate, investment, mergers and acquisitions, project finance and restructuring, and legislative and economic re- forms. He acts both as a transactional and litigator attorney.
Abou Ali serves as a board member of several corporations, including Telecom Egypt (he servesas chair of its compensation and bonuses committee), BLOM Bank Egypt (he serves as member of its audit committee),and Altaameer Real Estate Finance Company.
He is a member of the Egypt-US Business Council and the Egypt-Spain Business Council. He previously served at the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt as the chair of the Legal Affairs Committee and as the past executive vice president from 2011 to 2013.
Abou Ali is a member of the Board of Trustees and Treasurer of the Education for Employment Foundation EFE, and the current Chairman of the Board of the Egyptian Society for the Protection of Intellectual Property Rights since 2014 and its past Secretary General.
Abou Ali is an author of several published research papers and presentations on different aspects of Egyptian law.

Alaa Hashim is currently chairman of Transcendium, a leading boutique management services firm specialized in large-scale business transformations and investment management.
He also serves as a board member of one of Egypt's largest export manufacturing firms, MAC Carpet, previously as co-chief executive officer and has been with the company since graduation in different capacities. He also serves on the board of leading national retailer B-Tech, Egypt's leading Paper bag manufacturer Suez Bags Company, Egypt's leading Spice and Herb Exporter Giza Seeds and Herbs Egypt's most modern bonded warehouse facility and cargo handler within Cairo International Airport and on the advisory board of regional conglomerate Energya Group. He is the co- chair of the Strategic Advisory Board of the School of Business at the American University in Cairo. He also serves on the board of Egypt's leading think tanks Egyptian Center for Economic Studies and Egyptian National Competitiveness Council.
Hashim is a member of the Egypt-US Business Council. He is also an active member of AmCham Egypt where he chairs the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Committee and is a member of its Industry Committee. Hashim is a founding member of the Egypt Vision 2030 initiative and is a member of the board of trustees of the Egypt Vision Foundation. He is also a member of the Egyptian Junior Business Association.
Hashim previously served as a board member of the Industrial Modernization Center, The Industrial Development Agency, the Foreign Trade Training Center, the Egyptian Brazilian Business Council and the Egyptian Italian Business Council. Hashim also proudly served on the Egyptian National Senior Judo Team from 1993 to 1995 and represented Egypt in various international events. He earned his B.Sc. in mathematics from the American University in Cairo in 1997.

Saba was the founder of Beltone Financial, an investment banking institution operating in the fields of Asset Management, Corporate Finance, Private Equity, Brokerage, Research and Custody.
He was also the co-founder of Hermes Financial, which in 1996 became EFG-Hermes. Prior to founding Hermes he was a Senior Portfolio Manager at Kidder Peabody & Co. Inc. in New York.

telecommunications and intellectual property.

Hisham Fahmy is now CEO of AmCham Egypt Inc.; a mirror organization for AmCham Egypt, based in Washington D.C. Prior to January 2016, Hisham Fahmy has been serving as executive director then CEO of AmCham Egypt since December 1999, before which he also served as general manager from 1987 to 1993.
Fahmy has been playing an instrumental role in promoting US-Egypt business relationship, through the organization of over 26 business missions to Washington D.C. and other States. Fahmy is a familiar face in Washington DC offering experience on a wide range of strategic bilateral issues and is often invited to speak and participate on panels addressing different aspects of the economic relationship between Egypt and the United States.
During his tenure at AmCham Egypt, membership has reached over 1900 members. For over 20 years, Fahmy has been advocating for a friendly business environment for US companies operating in Egypt and Egyptian companies working with the United States. Fahmy helped in the formation of the AmCham MENA council in seven countries to promote US business and investment in the MENA region. Fahmy has been engaged in supporting the establishment of AmCham Bahrain and Afghanistan.
Fahmy previously served as acting director of the Egyptian Center for Economic Studies, a nonprofit think tank that carries out and disseminates independent economic research.
Fahmy currently serves on the advisory board of AUC's School of Business, and is a board member of Education for Employment association- (EFE) and a member of the American Society for Association Executives ASAE. He is also the founder and former chairman of the Egyptian Society of Association Executives (EgSAE).
Fahmy graduated from the American University in Cairo (AUC) in 1974 with a Bachelor's degree in chemistry.

Nevine Loutfy has been acting chairman, managing director and CEO of Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank Egypt since October 2008. She led the bank's transformation into a Sharia compliant institution, restructuring it and launching a large number of innovative Sharia compliant products in the retail, corporate, small and medium-sized enterprise, and microfinance segments.
During more than three decades in banking, Loutfy has worked in the United States, Europe, and emerging markets, developing expertise in credit risk, business and capital management. Loutfy joined ADIB Egypt from Citigroup's EMEA Commercial Bank in London, where she was chief operating officer, managing director, and senior credit officer.
Loutfy previously served as co-chair of the AmCham Banking and Finance Committee.

Osama Bishai joined the Orascom Construction Group in 1985 and has held the position of Managing Director of the Construction Business since 1998. El Sadek was one of the pioneers in exporting ready to eat canned vegetables out of Egypt in a Qualified Industrial Zone area. Today, his company accounts for over 50% of all foods exported under QIZ. With more than 20 years of business expertise under his belt, El Sadek has extensive experience in the Agriculture sector and the development of modern agriculture and processing operations. He has a wide understanding of the global trading of processed food and fresh produce in the Western world and Egypt.
El Sadek is Vice President of the Food export council (FEC) and chairs the exhibition committee, also co-chairs the Agriculture Committee at AmCham Egypt. He also is a board member of the Egypt - US Business Council.

Country Manager - Near East, Procter & Gamble Egypt
Karim Kamel's journey in Procter & Gamble started 19 years ago in Egypt, where he was part of P&G's internship program (in Sales and then Marketing), during the time that he was studying at the American University in Cairo. Post-graduation, Kamel joined P&G in Marketing and worked on the biggest brand (Ariel), and after spending four years successfully in Egypt, he was transferred to an international as- signment in Europe (based in Brussels), as Brand Manager. From this time onwards and for 13 years, Kamel successfully moved from one assignment to the other, going from Belgium, Saudi and last to Morocco, where his scope covered more than 15 countries as part of his portfolio, and he worked on nearly all of P&G core brands. He pioneered in turning around businesses that were in trouble and/or rais- ing the bar on existing businesses, until they reached record milestones. Kamel strongly believes that “The number One priority is people and building their capa- bilities,” and accordingly built capable organizations, leading to sustainable busi- ness building results. In July 2016, Kamel returned to Egypt to lead the P&G Near East Region (Egypt/Lebanon/Jordan/Syria/Iraq). He joined the AmCham Egypt Industry and Trade Committee in July 2016. He is married to May and is the proud father of Sherifa and Yehia. Kamel enjoys fishing, playing tennis and travelling with friends/family.

Kathryn Casson is the Director for Public Affairs and Communications for Coca- Cola in the Middle East and North Africa with responsibility for Government Rela- tions, Communications and Sustainability for the region. She is based in Cairo. Casson has over 15 years' experience in international policy making, working for the UK government's international cooperation ministry - the Department for Inter- national Development (DFID), and previously at the World Bank in Washington D.C. and the United Nations. Before joining Coca-Cola, she was Private Secretary to Justine Greening MP, the UK's International Development Cabinet Minister from 2011-2014, including over- seeing her press and communications function and work on economic development in developing countries. Casson's work has taken her to more than 10 countries in Africa and the Middle East (Israel, the Palestinian territories, Jordan, Afghanistan, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Rwanda and Zimbabwe) where she has worked with govern- ments and civil society on issues such as post-conflict transition, nutrition, women's health, climate change, microfinance and governance. In 2014 she was selected to attend the prestigious four-month Higher Command and Staff Course at the British Defence Academy, which trains future leaders of the UK military on strategic trends and threats and operational planning. She has an Honours degree in History from Queens' College Cambridge and an M.Sc. in International Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies of London University. She is on the Boards of the Vodafone Foundation in Egypt and Episcocare (the Anglican Church's development wing in Egypt).

Mowafy's 17 years of investment banking experience span a wide range of M&A and capital market transactions across numerous sectors with special emphasis on banking, telecoms, FMCG, non-bank financial services, real estate and industry.
